This vehicular adapter allows users to adapt the XTS 5000 portable radio for mobile operation. Providing in-vehicle rapid and trickle charging for NiCD, NiMH and Li-ion batteries, these units offer quick radio release, dead battery operation, and are powered by attaching the radio supply cable to the 12V battery located inside police cars, utility trucks or other vehicles.
